Grace Fellowship Church located in Comstock Park Michigan has been faithfully serving its fellowship for 27 years. We are a well-established, loving congregation with conservative theology and a deep love for God's Word and one-another.

We currently fluctuate between 70-110 worshippers. Our church building seats approximately 600 people and is close to being fully paid off (2027), providing an excellent foundation for long-term ministry and vision. We are located in close proximity to Grand Rapids, Michigan, offering access to the resources of a growing metro area while still maintaining a family-oriented, close-knit church atmosphere.

This is a unique opportunity for a pastor to step into a stable church with freedom to bring vision, leadership, and ministry direction while building on a strong foundation.

Primary Responsibilities

Preaching & Teaching

• Faithfully preach and teach the Word of God with clarity, conviction, and biblical accuracy
• Provide regular Sunday preaching and teaching
• Uphold and articulate the church's doctrinal convictions

Spiritual Leadership & Vision

• Provide spiritual oversight and pastoral leadership to the congregation
• Lead the church in prayer, discipleship, and spiritual growth
• Help cast and implement vision consistent with Scripture and the church's mission

Shepherding & Pastoral Care

• Shepherd the congregation with wisdom, humility, and care
• Equip leaders and ministry teams for pastoral care and discipleship
• Oversee pastoral care systems alongside church leadership

Leadership & Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with elders and ministry leaders
• Develop and mentor leaders within the church
• Provide oversight and accountability for ministry direction

Qualifications

Spiritual & Character Qualifications

• A clear calling to pastoral ministry
• Demonstrates biblical character as outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
• Commitment to personal spiritual discipline, prayer, and integrity
• Humble, teachable, and servant-hearted leadership style

Theological Qualifications

• Strong commitment to conservative evangelical theology
• Affirms the authority and sufficiency of Scripture
• Alignment with Grace Fellowship Church's statement of faith

Experience & Skills

• Proven preaching and teaching ability
• Experience in pastoral leadership (preferred)
• Ability to lead a congregation with both stability and growth potential
• Strong communication and relational skills
