Job Overview

LifeSpring Church is looking for a new Lead Pastor. LifeSpring is a young (both in years and makeup) church that launched in 2016 in Smithfield, NC. LifeSpring exists to give everyone opportunities to follow Jesus. We believe that God's call to fulfill the Great Commission as we live out the Great Commandment is our top priority. We place a high value on missions and church planting.

Expectations:

• Vibrant, active, daily relationship with Jesus.
• Meets the character qualifications for an elder found in 1 Timothy 3.
• 5 -10 years experience minimally in full-time ministry.
• Affirms The Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
• Must become a Partner (Member) of LifeSpring Church within 90 days of being hired.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop, communicate and steward the vision of LifeSpring Church
• Be the primary communicator of the teaching of God's Word for the church
• Lead, care for, and disciple the leadership team of the church
• Equip the leadership team to help accomplish the day-to-day ministries of the church
• Care for the members of the church body, both directly and indirectly (through other appointed leaders/members)
• Develop and oversee the budget
• Model and equip the work of evangelism locally and abroad
• Model and equip a personal lifestyle dependent on prayer and champion that corporately.
• Help model and equip LifeSpring to be a sending church here, near, and far with an emphasis on church planting to help fulfill the Great Commission.
• Officiating Funerals and Weddings as needed within the church.
