Wayne City Baptist Church in Wayne City Illinois is seeking a full-time lead pastor. We average 50-75 per Sunday. We are currently seeking an individual that is relational, has a shepherd's heart for both the church body and the community and most importantly led by the Spirit to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are offering a salary range of $55 – 65k based on experience and education. We also have a very nice large brick parsonage available with a large backyard in a nice neighborhood.
The church building is a beautiful well maintained facility next door to the local K-12 school district which provides many opportunities to open our doors for many youth events. We work closely with the school. Some of our ongoing ministries are Wednesday night youth (averages 60 kids), VBS, freezer meals and Sewers for Christ.
