Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the facilities and care of Trinity Baptist Church's property. The candidate will be expected to communicate promptly with ministry leaders and ensure that facility repairs are addressed. The Maintenance Supervisor will handle plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and building maintenance for all buildings and houses on the property. They will also be responsible for setting up and tearing down campus events and overseeing the coordination of any contractor callouts. When the cleaning personnel are unavailable, the Maintenance Supervisor will be expected to ensure that cleaning duties are maintained. Qualifications and Expectations -Christian who demonstrates a love for Christ and others. -High school diploma or equivalent required; hands-on training/trade school preferred. -2-5 years of experience in troubleshooting, building repairs, and general maintenance. -Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. -Task-driven and able to assess, prioritize, and complete maintenance responsibilities with efficiency and follow-through. -Ability to supervise staff with clear communication, organization, and follow-through. -Proficient in using Microsoft Office, work order tracking systems, and inventory management tools to support daily maintenance operations. -Ability to budget, track expenses, and manage materials responsibly. -Because this is a leadership position within the ministry, the employee is expected to faithfully participate in Sunday morning worship, support Trinity Baptist Church, and agree with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 (bfm.sbc.net).

Schedule  This is a 40-hour-per-week position, with 35 regular office hours and up to 5 hours available for ministry events, special projects, or facility needs outside the normal schedule. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm with a one-hour daily unpaid lunch break. Preapproved flex time, approved by the Business Administrator or the Senior Pastor, is available for hours outside the normal schedule.
