Church OverviewFBC Bremen exists to glorify God as every family member Knows Jesus personally, Grows as His disciple, and Goes to make disciples who do the same. We are a Gospel-centered, Word-driven church committed to doctrinal faithfulness and long-term ministry fruitfulness. God has graciously blessed FBC Bremen with steady spiritual and numerical growth. We currently average approximately 450–500 in Sunday morning worship and will be launching a second worship service on March 15, 2026, to steward growth and create space for future ministry.Bremen is a growing community with a strong school system and a steady influx of young families, making it an excellent place to live, serve, and raise a family. We are prayerfully seeking a full-time Minister of Music to serve alongside our staff team and lead our church in Christ-exalting, theologically rich corporate worship.

Philosophy of WorshipWorship at FBC Bremen is God-centered, Bible-saturated, and congregationally participatory. We believe music serves the Word and should: exalt the Lord, reinforce biblical truth, shape the affections of God's people, and support congregational singing. Our worship is best described as blended, drawing from historic hymns & faithful contemporary songs.

Primary Responsibilities:1) MusicThe oversight and leadership for all music ministries of FBC Bremen.Lead music weekly for two Sunday Morning Worship services:First service (9:15AM): Praise-team ledSecond service (10:45AM): Worship-choir ledPlan worship services in collaboration with the Lead Pastor, ensuring musical selections support the preached Word.Select songs that are theologically-rich, drawing from both historic and contemporary sources.Lead and coordinate music for additional scheduled services as needed (special services, holidays, funerals, etc.).Recruit, train, disciple, and organize volunteers involved in the music ministry.Plan and direct rehearsals for praise teams, choir, and instrumentalists.Encourage and cultivate strong congregational singing. 2) Media, Production, & Organizational LeadershipProvide leadership and direction for the media and A/V production of worship services.Work closely with the A/V team to ensure sound, livestream, slides, and service flow are prepared and communicated clearly.Oversee the care, upkeep, and scheduling of musical instruments and A/V equipment.Support clear communication and coordination across ministries as part of a growing, increasingly structured staff team.Help ensure the church's website and social media presence are clear, current, and aligned with the mission of the church.3) Ministry Support & Team InvolvementServe as a key team member on the church staff, embracing a collaborative, servant-hearted approach to ministry.Assist with ministry care responsibilities as needed, such as: member visitation, hospital visits, counseling support, teaching in ministry settings when appropriate.Participate in staff meetings, ministry planning, and church-wide initiatives.Help steward the music ministry budget responsibly and faithfully.Actively participate in and, when appropriate, help lead a small group for the purpose of spiritual growth and discipleship formation.Remain adaptable and flexible as the church grows, structures develop, and ministry needs evolve.Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Pastor.

Qualifications:A clear sense of calling to full-time ministry, with a heart for serving the local church.A life marked by biblical character and maturity consistent with 1 Timothy 3:2-7.Full doctrinal alignment with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 (amended 2023).Demonstrated ability to lead both choir-based and praise-team based worship.Proven ability to work well on a team, receive direction, and adapt in a growing ministry context. This position reports to the Lead Pastor.
