Pigeon Fork Baptist Church is seeking a Minister of Music.
We are a small country church, founded in 1825, seeking to serve God and our community. We are looking for a person who is in close relationship with God who will work alongside the Pastor to lead and direct our worship service to the glory of God and the edification of our body. We are looking for someone who has proficient music and vocal abilities. Playing piano or guitar is not required but strongly desired. We are looking for someone to invest in our church and community.
The Minister of Music will be under the guidance of the Pastor. Duties include the following: leading congregational singing on Sunday morning and other special events, leading weekly choir practice, coordinating music for Easter, Christmas, Revivals, Homecoming or other special events, scheduling soloists or ensembles to sing on a regular basis, works with Pastor in preparing worship services, serves on the Church Council, and other duties as assigned.
The weekly schedule consists of leading Sunday morning worship, and leading choir practice.
