BFM 2000 Church/PastorPosition Summary:The Music Minister will be responsible for planning, leading, and coordinating all aspects of the church's music ministry, working closely with the Pastor and staff to create meaningful worship experiences that glorify God and engage the congregation.Key Responsibilities:Plan and lead music for weekly worship services and special servicesDirect and develop choirs, ensembles, and/or praise teamsSelect music that is theologically sound and appropriate for congregational worshipCoordinate rehearsals and schedules for musicians and vocalistsWork collaboratively with pastoral staff and church leadershipOversee music ministry volunteers and encourage spiritual growth within the teamAssist with special events, seasonal programs, and church-wide services as neededQualifications:A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a calling to music ministryExperience leading church music ministry (education in music or ministry preferred)Ability to work with both traditional and contemporary worship styles (as applicable to the church)Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsWillingness to support the mission and values of Westwood Baptist Church Position Details:Full-time positionSalary and benefits commensurate with experienceWillingness to lead Senior Adult Ministry desired but not requiredTo Apply:Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, résumé, references and any applicable recordings (if available) to [email protected]
