South Harriman Baptist Church (SHBC) is seeking a Spirit-led, musically gifted Minister of Music & Worship to lead our congregation in meaningful, Christ-centered worship. This full-time position offers the opportunity to shape and grow a multi-generational music ministry in a supportive, team-oriented church environment.

Key Responsibilities·Lead and direct the praise team and choir for Sunday morning and evening services·Oversee and develop music ministry for all age groups, including children and youth·Plan and conduct seasonal choir specials and worship events·Collaborate with the pastor and staff to plan weekly worship services·Mentor musicians of all ages and cultivate a love for worship through music·Assist with audio/visual technology (experience preferred)

We are located in Harriman, TN, a small East Tennessee town known for its historic downtown, outdoor recreation, and tight-knit community. With a population of around 6,000, Harriman offers a low cost of living and is a great place to raise a family. We're just 30 minutes from Knoxville and 90 minutes of both Chattanooga and the Great Smoky Mountains.

Salary is fair and reasonable and comparable to other SBC churches in the southern US.
