Minister to Students

Calvary Baptist Church in Bogue Chitto, MS, is seeking a Minister to Students to lead a Christ-centered ministry for youth, grades 7 – 12. This position may be part-time or full-time or bi-vocational. The ideal candidate will have a clear calling to student ministry, a mature walk with Christ, and a passion for discipling youth to grow their faith in Jesus Christ and understanding of Biblical doctrine.

Calvary Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church committed to biblical teaching, gospel-centered community, and spiritual growth.

Responsibilities include leading and growing the student ministry; discipling students toward faith, baptism, and church involvement; planning and leading weekly classes, retreats, and mission trips; recruiting and equipping volunteers for event support; providing biblical guidance to students and families; working with church staff, ministry teams, and committees; managing the student ministry budget; and attending student and community events.

Candidates should have strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, beliefs that align with Southern Baptist doctrine, and demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a servant's heart.
