Position Summary
The Minister to Students provides visionary leadership for the student ministry by making disciples who make disciples.
This individual will intentionally invest in students, equip parents as the primary disciplers of their children, recruit and develop volunteer leaders, and build a culture where students know Christ, grow in biblical maturity, serve others, and make disciples themselves.
Success is measured less by attendance and more by spiritual transformation.

Responsibilities
Disciple Students
Build intentional relationships with students.Personally disciple students toward spiritual maturity.Develop student leaders who disciple other students.Create a culture of multiplication rather than dependence.Equip Parents
Recognize that parents are God's primary disciplers of their children.
Provide:

Develop Leaders
Recruit, train, encourage, and shepherd a growing team of adult volunteers.
The goal is not simply staffing events. The goal is developing disciple-makers.
Lead Weekly Ministry
Provide biblical teaching that is:

Integrate Students Into Church Life
Help students understand they are not merely the church of tomorrow. They are part of the church today.

Required:
Growing relationship with Jesus Christ.Agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message.Demonstrated call to student ministry.Strong biblical teaching ability.Proven relational leadership.Ability to recruit and equip volunteers.Team player.Excellent communication skills.Preferred:
Bachelor's degree (minimum)Seminary education or willingness to pursue theological trainingPrevious full-time student ministry experienceCharacteristics We Value

Students are serving throughout the church.
Baptisms are increasing.
The ministry is no longer centered around one personality.
Instead, there is a healthy culture of disciple-making that continues to reproduce itself.
