Houseparents:
-Care for a group of children by providing structure, love, discipline, and spiritual guidance in a nurturing, home-like setting-Manage daily routines such as meals, school prep, chores, and bedtime with consistency and grace-Model healthy relationships and Christ-like character in everyday life-Walk with children through their healing journey, offering emotional and spiritual support-Serve as part of a gospel-driven team dedicated to trauma-informed, biblically grounded care
The role of a houseparent is a calling—an opportunity to serve Christ by caring for children in need of love, stability, and hope. An ideal houseparent is someone who:
-Feels called to care for children from hard places-Is a committed and growing follower of Jesus Christ-Is actively involved in a Southern Baptist Church-Lives an active and energetic lifestyle-Is looking for a meaningful place to serve and share the gospel daily
