The Music and Worship Director will rehearse with worship team and musicians regularly. Communicate and work with soloists, ensembles, and instrumentalists regarding the selection and appropriateness of their music and their participation in worship. Lead the congregational singing. Coordinate the schedule for special music. Coordinate the church music program with the church calendar with special emphasis on the important dates of the church year. Plan and prepare annually for a special music emphasis during the Christmas and Easter seasons. Coordinate with the Technology Director and Audio/Video technician(s). He shall coordinate with the Pastor in the planning, scheduling, and directing of the music program and ministries.
