This role oversees the youth ministry and outreach.
Church Profile
FFBC is an historic church in the middle of a revitalization. We currently average 250 on Sunday mornings, with 15-25 students on a weekly basis. As our entire church continues to grow and receive weekly visitors, our youth ministry is in an excellent position to thrive.
We have over 60,000 lost people within a 10-minute drive of our church building.
Responsibilities
- Oversee ministry to 6th-12th grade studentsPartner with parents to disciple their students
- Cultivate a culture that leads to spiritual and evangelistic growth
- Recruit and train a team of volunteers
- Coordinate youth events, such as camp and DNow
- Establish relationships with local middle schools and high schools
- Create a comprehensive discipleship strategy for our church for PreK-12th grade
- Coordinate with the Kids Director in discipling families
- Lead FFBC's outreach efforts
- Establish a plan for local evangelism, international missions, and strategic local and international partnerships in coordination with the Senior Pastor
- Plan and execute outreach events that mobilize the church into the community and around the world
Qualifications
- Christian maturity
- A desire to serve the local church as an overseer
- An interest in revitalization ministry
- 3-5 years of ministry experience preferred
- Theological education preferred
Compensation
This role pays $62,000/yr in salary, housing, and retirementThis role includes health insuranceThis role includes unlimited PTO (subject to supervisor approval)
