Job Overview
This position is responsible for working closely with ministerial staff and church leadership to support the overall ministry of the church. Under the direction of the Lead Pastor, s/he will attend to a wide variety of responsibilities, including administration, communication, human resources, finances, event planning, content creation, and general ministry support.

- Extremely organized; detail- and task-oriented; driven self-starter who enjoys learning; teachable, servant-hearted helper.
- Commitment to excellence and attention to detail in all s/he does (Col 3:23); an intelligent hard worker who will takes ownership of responsibilities and follows projects through to completion.
- High motor with ability to handle many projects at once; not easily overwhelmed.
Professional Responsibilities:
Administration & Operations
- Manage church office operations and records
- Maintain membership database
- Coordinate facility scheduling
- Support staff and ministry leaders
Communications & Events
- Create and distribute church communications
- Coordinate church-wide events
- Assist with content creation and publications
Finance & Human Resources
- Support budgeting, payroll, reimbursements, and bill payment
- Coordinate onboarding and employee records
- Process benefits and HR administration
Ministry Support
- Assist pastors and ministry leaders
- Coordinate volunteer teams
- Support special projects and church initiatives
Applicant Requirements (applicants must have):
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in office management or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years' office / administrative experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills and ability to operate office equipment.
- Ability to handle stress and problem-solve.
- Ability to keep confidential and sensitive information.
- A commitment to standing as a moral and upstanding representative of the church community.
Applicant Preferences (best applicants will have):
- 5+ years' office / administrative experience.
- Desire to join West Hills as a member.
- Graphic design and social media skills.
