First Baptist Church Deer Park is searching for a Worship Pastor to lead all aspects of the worship life of the church. Five or more years serving in a worship leading capacity is needed (service on staff as a worship pastor preferred). This person must be passionate about bringing God's people close to Him in worship, having the heart and demeanor of a pastor who happens to minister through music.

This person must be a confident leader who is comfortable working with other talented musicians/volunteers. Additionally, this person must be a strong "team player" and "team builder." The primary functions of the position include:

– serve as one of the primary worship leaders for Deer Park First Baptist Church– facilitate training for singers, instrumentalists, and tech volunteers– ensure that music selected for services glories God, is biblically accurate, is played at a high standard, and is in alignment with the beliefs of DPFBC and its leadership– recruit volunteers pastor, coach, and mentor worship ministry volunteers
