First Baptist Church of Gordon, TX is seeking a spiritually mature, biblically grounded individual to serve as Part-Time Youth Ministry Leader. This role exists to disciple and shepherd the youth of our church, helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, develop a biblical worldview, and actively participate in the life and mission of the church.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach the Word of God faithfully in weekly youth gatherings and Bible studies (Wednesdays & Sunday mornings)
• - Develop biblically sound lesson plans aligned with the church's doctrine
• - Disciple students personally through mentorship and spiritual guidance
• - Organize off-campus activities (camps, retreats, mission trips, fellowship events)
• - Continue the Ignite Program — a monthly youth gathering at a church member's home
• - Build Christ-centered relationships with youth and their families
• - Work within an approved youth ministry budget and maintain administrative records

Qualifications:

• Clear testimony of salvation and a growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• - Agreement with the doctrine and mission of First Baptist Church of Gordon
• - Accredited Bible college/seminary training or active enrollment required
• - Ability to teach and apply Scripture effectively
• - Heart for discipleship and small-town ministry
• - Prior youth ministry experience preferred
