With the retirement of our pastor of 30 years, Boynton Baptist Church has begun the search for a new pastor to preach the word of God and pastor our congregation. We are a small Southern Baptist church located in NWGA 20 minutes from Chattanooga, TN. We are in a much sought after school district and five minutes from a new hospital.
Job description:
Preach Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday evening service.Pastoral care with visits to the sick, home bound, and hospital visit.Community outreach with missions within the community and abroad.
Job qualification:
Must be an ordained Southern Baptist pastor with sound doctrine preaching. Seminary preferred. Must have administrative skills and work well with our deacon body.Must believe that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant word of God.
Compensation:
We have a comparable compensation package that includes housing.
