Experience:

The Pastor shall have some experience in the ministry.

Education:

The Pastor shall have at least a high school diploma.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct the worship services; prepare and deliver sermons; lead in observance of ordinances.
• Lead the church in an effective program of witnessing and in a caring ministry for people in the church and community.
• Visit members and prospects and make it a point to learn the congregation.
• Serve as part of the church leadership team.
• Work with deacons, church officers, and committee teams as they perform their leadership duties.
• Train and lead the deacons in their ministry.
• Be active in local conventions and other denominational activities in order to keep the church informed

Characteristics:

• Solid preaching/teaching ability.
• A clear sense of calling to this ministry.
• An impeccable moral reputation.
• Love for and commitment to his family.
• A solid financial track record regarding personal/family finances as well as church finances.
• Good organizational and leadership skills.
• Good administrative skills.
