The pastor of the church is to meet the requirements set forth in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1. The prospective pastor must affirm his agreement with the statement of belief of Covington Baptist Church. Seminary education (preferred). Demonstrates strong Christian values. Lead a small Church that is blessed with dedicated members while reflecting our commitment to corporate worship and fellowship. Focused on fulfilling the Great Commission through local outreach and missions support. Looking for a pastor that will lead us into the future while continuing this legacy. Lead traditional worship services. Provide pastoral care through visitation of elderly, hospitalized, and homebound members. Offer spiritual and personal counseling.
