First Baptist of Shasta Lake, Calif. is prayerfully seeking a new pastor to lead Sunday morning service & possibly a mid week bible study . We are located in Northern Cal. surrounded by mountains & lakes. We are a growing community (near a larger community development .) Our current pastor is retiring after 21 years of service. We are a small senior congregation but desire to grow & reach the lost. We want a pastor to shepherd , encourage, & lead. New pastor may need too be bi-vocational or have a supplemental income. Salary & or parsonage is negotiable . Salary could increase as the church grows. Education & experience will be considered but not required. We prefer the pastor to be ordained& licensed by the Southern Baptist Convention. The man should have a deep love & commitment to God. IPeter 5:2-3.
