FRIENDSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH is seeking a bivocational pastor to join with us in growing our congregation. The church is a small, conservative Southern Baptist Church currently in our 21st year of service to our Lord and community. Located in a primarily rural but quickly expanding community of York County in South Eastern Pennsylvania.

Expectations of the Pastor: We are praying for God to send us a man with the character qualities of I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:7-9 to be our pastor. He must be a born-again man ordained by a conservative church of like faith and order. He must have an established reputation of solid Bible orientation and theology in accordance with the Baptist Faith and Message. A man with a love of God's word and a burden for lost souls.

He must have a degree in pastoral, theological, of Bible studies or be working toward one with initial salary commensurate with progress.

He should lead our church in making disciples and evangelizing the community. Must exhibit commitment to daily prayer and devotion to God. Duties will include but are not limited to preaching Sunday morning service, working closely with the deacons monthly; quarterly planning and business meetings; visiting members and visitors. At this initial level the salary package would be $26000 per year. As the church grows, increased salary and time expansion duties would be considered.
