Gila Valley Baptist Church is seeking a dedicated full-time pastor to serve together with our congregation while providing spiritual leadership for the church and its ministries.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

• Communicate Biblical teaching in a way that is clear and understandable.
• Live a life that visibly displays the fruit of the Spirit.
• Emphasize discipleship, personal and spiritual growth, and servant leadership.
• Be able to recognize and value the spiritual gifts of others and encourage the use of those gifts within the church.
• Form new relationships easily seeking ways to be actively involved in our church and community.

We are located in Gila, a rural community in southwestern New Mexico. Gila Valley Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church with a strong, active congregation and close ties to our community. We are a part of a 15-church regional association and involved in the Baptist Convention of New Mexico. Silver City is approximately 30 minutes away and has numerous local restaurants, grocery stores, and a Walmart.

A full time salary ($50k-60k dependent on experience), parsonage housing next door to the church (3bd/2ba), and all utilities/internet will be provided.
