Leptondale Bible Church is seeking a fulltime pastor. We are a non-denominational Christian church located in the Hudson River Valley (our exact location is marked on the map on this page).
Leptondale attendance averages about 95 on Sunday mornings. Along with the Sunday service we have Sunday School for all ages and a number of home Bible studies. We have children's ministries for various ages during the week. We have active men's, women's and senior's ministries.
We are dedicated to spreading the gospel both locally and around the world through strong support for our missionaries and through local outreach events.
We have an experienced interim pastor currently filling the pulpit; however, he is not a candidate for the fulltime pastor position that we are seeking to fill.

Job Description
Our pastor must have a demonstrated deep personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. He must have a clear call from God to the ministry and to our church. He must have a clear understanding and full agreement with our by-laws, doctrinal statement, and elder position papers. He must have deep Biblical knowledge and a strong prayer life.
We would prefer that our new pastor would have a Master of Divinity Degree, or the equivalent, and several years of experience as a pastor.
Our pastor will be responsible to preach and teach the Word of God at regular church services and other occasions. He will be available to teach and counsel individuals with personal and spiritual problems.
Our pastor will, along with the other elders, provide spiritual leadership and a vision for the church as a whole, and will be accountable to God for keeping watch over the souls of the congregation.
