Pastor of Children’s Ministries

Job Overview

First Evan is currently experiencing an exciting time of growth, and we expect our children's ministry to be a big part of our future. We have seen and are prayerful that we will continue to be blessed by the arrival of many young families and young adults who either currently have or plan to have kids.

Ideally, this person would have proven experience leading and developing a creative and energetic ministry environment as well as skills in discipleship of kids and their parents. Another strength we are looking for is a dynamic and engaging presence when in front of a crowd. Our ministry has recently been led by various members of our church and, while healthy, really provides an opportunity for someone who is a builder to get in on the ground floor and develop something new.

First Evangelical Church is a non-denominational church located in Memphis, TN. Having just celebrated its 90th birthday, First Evan has a long history of reaching Memphis and the world with its focus on teaching God's Word and Global Missions.
