Pastor of Discipleship
Thank you for your interest in the Pastor of Discipleship role at Koinos Church. We are a growing Southern Baptist Church that was planted more than 25 years ago in Troy, Ohio. Koinos Church is a congregational, elder led church that is shepherded by nine elders.
At Koinos Church, our primary focus is expository preaching, Christ exalting worship and intentional discipleship. As you will see in the job description below, we are a family of believers who are committed to connecting with the body, growing in Christ and serving the body together. We accomplish this through LifeGroups, smaller Discipleship Groups, quarterly Family Meetings and various Next Steps Classes geared toward biblical discipleship.
We offer two Lord's Day gatherings at 9:00 and 10:45 with a total weekly attendance of 450-500 souls. Although our congregation is multi-generational, our primary demographic is young families with children.
Our current Pastor of Discipleship is set to retire in 2026 and we are eager to meet with candidates who are looking to help shepherd the flock at Koinos Church.
