Requirements and Qualifications

• Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, modeling faith in daily lifestyle and a commitment to prayer
• Have consistent spiritual and moral character, and a lifestyle complying with Biblical leadership qualifications as described in 1 Timothy 3:1–13 and Titus 1:6–9
• Have a passion and calling for family ministry and discipleship
• Be a student of Scripture, with the ability to teach and preach the Word of God
• Have the ability to work independently as well as part of a ministry team
• Have relational maturity and a personable communication style
• Have competent technology and organizational skills for the purposes of communication and presentation
• Be seminary trained or be willing to be seminary trained.
• Be skilled in administrative tasks
• Be able to help personally disciple men in the church and help with counseling

Job Description

Responsibilities and Expectations

• This job does come with housing.
• Engage the flock outside of church where possible (e.g., extracurricular activities, sports events, meals in homes, anywhere the flock gathers, etc.)
• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for children's and youth ministries as well as adult studies
• Equip parents to share the Gospel with and to be the primary disciple makers of their children
• Make disciples, who then become disciple-makers
• Maintain a schedule that allows for stated office hours, preparation time, and planned events, as well as other interaction with the flock
• Oversee planning center and church website
• Help to shepherd families and be willing to provide counseling when needed
• Help guide the financial committee and help establish the budget
