The Pastor of Family Discipleship is a pastoral role focused on cultivating a church-wide culture of family discipleship and providing biblical, pastoral care to individuals and families. This role emphasizes relationship-building, equipping parents, strengthening marriages, and fostering alignment across generations so that discipleship flows naturally from the church into the home.

Family/Life Integrity: Models a biblically faithful approach to family life and personal discipleship. Servant-Hearted: Willing to serve where needed for the health and unity of the church body. Help guide and support the home group ministry and other small group ministries to ensure they contribute meaningfully to spiritual formation and family discipleship. Encourage ministry leaders to partner effectively with parents and families in the discipleship of children and students. Serve as a pastoral resource and encouragement to families across a variety of educational contexts, including homeschooling families and emerging homeschool groups within the church. Facilitate opportunities for families to serve together in missions and ministry. Pastoral Care and Shepherding Tailor pastoral care to the spiritual maturity, circumstances, and needs of individuals and families. Develop and maintain pastoral relationships that allow for encouragement, biblical counseling, and discipleship within families and with individuals. Communication and Culture-Shaping Promote a culture of family discipleship through clear communication in worship services, inter-personal discussions, written communication, and digital platforms. Regularly communicate encouragement, vision, and prayer needs to the congregation related to family discipleship and spiritual formation.
Accountability and Leadership Serve under the leadership of the Senior Pastor and elders, maintaining regular communication and openness to feedback and evaluation. Approach ministry change thoughtfully, relationally, and in alignment with pastoral and elder leadership. Fulfill additional pastoral responsibilities as directed by the Senior Pastor. Starting Emphasis During the first six-months, the Pastor of Family Discipleship will prioritize listening, relationship-building, and assessment of the church's families, leaders, and discipleship practices.
