Pastor of Students and Families at Adaville Baptist ChurchJob Description: This pastor is called to provide Christ-centered discipleship and development of the students in 6-12th grade and their families. He will develop, organize, and lead a comprehensive student ministry of 25-30 kids that undergirds the vision of Adaville Baptist to Call the lost to Christ, Connect believers to the local body, Develop them as mature disciples, and to Deploy them to use their gifts and talents to fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples who make disciples both locally and globally. This should be a pastoral calling and passion, not a ministerial steppingstone. We desire this man to love students, relate well with them, and lead them with maturity and Christlikeness. This requires spending time with students outside of the church walls in ways that build character and nurture their faith. In addition to meeting the biblical standard for pastors in 1Timothy 3:1-7, this pastor should possess these qualities: Good role model, upbeat and positive attitude, listens well, engaging teacher, team player, experienced, good communicator, respects boundaries, good sense of humor, respects all students, has fun, displays personal growth.

Responsibilities: Primarily to provide sound, engaging, and age-appropriate biblical teaching that are in line with the vision, mission, and policies of the church. He will also lead the Student Ministry Team as they undergird the ministry as volunteers. He will attend all staff meetings and engage in all leadership meetings of the church. He will fully participate in the life of the body as a member and as a shepherd.Qualifications and Preferences:· No less than 3-5 years of full-time experience on a church staff as a student minister· Has completed an undergraduate degree at a college or university· Must be married· Prefer a seminary graduate but not required · Prefer someone already ordained but not requiredCompensation: $45,000-$48,000 based on education and experience.HOW TO APPLY: Please prayerfully send your resume to [email protected].
