- Dedicated to sacrificial service as an under-shepherd of Christ's people. (1 Peter 5:1-4).
- A servant-leader who demonstrates genuine love for others, flexibility, humility, teachability, and a commitment to unity.
- Devoted to studying and rightly handling God's Word (2 Timothy 3:16–17, 4:2).
- Proficient in planning doctrinally rich worship.
- Skillful in vocal and instrumental leadership (guitar or keyboard) and able to collaborate well with other musicians.
- Committed to regular prayer for others and himself (Acts 6:4, James 5:14-20).
- Committed to becoming a member in good standing at Heritage, affirming our Statement of Faith, embracing our core values, submitting to plural pastor/elder leadership, and serving for several years at Heritage.

- A bachelor's degree (or higher) in Biblical Studies, Music, Theology, Worship, or a related field.
- A premillennial view of eschatology based on a literal historical-grammatical hermeneutic.
Position Description
Worship Ministry
In this role, you will lead God's people in worship, modeling biblical worship principles and crafting meaningful worship services based on Scripture. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the worship ministry, including song selections, AV preparations, and the arrangements of instrumentalists and vocalists.
- Planning, preparing, and directing theologically sound worship services for Sunday gatherings in collaboration with other elders/leaders.
- Managing the worship schedule, calendar, and budget.
- Building and nurturing volunteer teams.
- Preparing special worship programs for key events throughout the year (Good Friday, Christmas Eve, etc.).
- Setting, assessing, and adjusting short-term and long-term goals for the worship ministry.
- Ensuring the maintenance and care of all worship equipment, evaluating needs, and suggesting improvements.
General Shepherding
This involves participating in weekly elders' meetings, attending regular staff meetings, providing pastoral care and biblical counseling, sharing in preaching and teaching, and assisting in officiating communion and baptisms. Additionally, we encourage your involvement in elder retreats, conferences, church-wide events, and ministries as your schedule allows.
The salary for this position is $70,000, commensurate with experience, qualification, & education.
