Job Description

This new Pastor will:

• Be a servant leader
• Exemplify the biblical leadership qualities of an overseer found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, 2 Timothy 3:10, 2 Timothy 2:14, Titus 1:5-9 and 1 Peter 5:1-5.
• Minister to the congregation
• Prepare and deliver sermons
• Model and encourage praise and worship
• Represent the church in the community
• Develop worship services that speak to members and attendees of diverse ages and levels of spiritual maturity.
• Demonstrate a humble spirit and a down-to-earth, relatable personality.
• Demonstrate a high level of integrity and possess sound moral and ethical principle
• Possess the ability to engage and relate to people of all walks of life (including, but not limited to, members, non-members, believers and non-believers) to win souls for Christ.

Qualifications – The Pastor of One Hope Community Church will:

• Fulfill the biblical qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
• Demonstrate adequate ministerial training and sound understanding of biblical doctrine and practice.
• Have preaching experience.
• Possess the ability to preach clear, engaging, God-honoring, Gospel-centered biblical expositions with relevant application to all age groups
• Have a proven track record of committed, compassionate, and effective pastoral oversight.
• Be competent in administrative, managerial, and technological skills.
