Roles and Responsibilities
Have a deep commitment to faithfully preaching the Gospel of Jesus ChristPreaching and teaching the congregation during our Sunday morning worship time along with Sunday and Wednesday evening Bible studiesProviding strong spiritual support and witness to membersTeaching the congregation sound doctrine and theologyDemonstrating care and concern for the people of the churchParticipating in community involvement and outreachVisiting the sick and grieving along with potential new membersCollaborating with groups within the churchPromoting and supporting local, state, and international missionsProviding strong spiritual support and witness to membersParticipating in denominational organizations (SBC)Managing church staff and programsDemonstrate a deep understanding of and commitment to the Bible, Christian theology, and Southern Baptist traditionEducation
