Vardaman FBC has been serving the Lord since 1904 located in the town of Vardaman. We live in a diverse community with a strong local school and are multi-generational with ministries for all ages to grow as disciples of Christ.
Some of our core beliefs include that we accept The Bible as the inspired Word of God and as the sole authority in matter of faith, doctrine, and living. We believe in the eternal triune God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). We accept the "Baptist Faith and Message" as currently adopted by the SBC. Our ministries include:
Sunday morning worship service
Sunday school for all ages
Sunday evening Bible study
Youth group discipleship
Elementary classes
Wednesday night prayer meeting
We are prayerfully seeking God's direction to find our next pastor who will lead the church family and staff in fulfilling the Great Commission. All education levels will be considered. Our next pastor should exemplify the qualifications in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:7-9. Some of the essential duties of a qualified man would include:
Leading worship services & administering the ordinances
Providing Biblical counseling
Overseeing church activities
Community outreach
Supervising church staff & upholding church policies
Being accountable to the congregation and deacons
