Job Overview
Sanibel Community Church is seeking a worship-focused pastoral apprentice who aspires to gospel ministry and desires intensive, hands-on preparation for pastoral leadership within the local church. This apprenticeship is designed as a post-seminary residency, similar to a medical training model, where participants gain practical experience through close mentorship, observation, and active ministry engagement.
Job Description
The apprentice will be immersed in the life and leadership of the church, participating in the rhythms of pastoral ministry while receiving intentional theological and leadership development. Duties are pastoral and varied, including discipling, teaching, and preaching. Worship-focused responsibilities include playing/singing regularly for Sunday services, worship leading, and directing music ensembles.
We aim to prepare men for faithful, biblically-grounded pastoral ministry in the local church.
This is a 2-year, full-time, paid (housing provided) apprenticeship.
