Overview The Pastoral Residency at Waukesha Bible Church is designed for individuals pursuing hands-on training and development in pastoral ministry. This two-year program provides residents with immersive, in-the-field experience alongside intentional theological and leadership formation.

Purpose Our aim is to train future pastors "from the inside out"—through direct involvement in church life and leadership—so that they are equipped to step into lead pastoral roles or plant gospel-centered churches. Residents will be deeply rooted in our church family and mentored by our pastors and elders, with a long-term vision of multiplying healthy churches and leaders.

Key Components

• Theological Formation Engage in guided study and discussions to develop a robust, gospel-centered theology that shapes life and ministry.
• Leadership Development Learn practical leadership through mentorship, team collaboration, and real-time feedback within the church context.
• Ministry Experience Participate in the daily life of the church through pastoral care, ministry planning, discipleship, and administration.
• Teaching & Preaching Opportunities Grow in communication and biblical exposition through regular teaching in various church settings.
• Pastoral Responsibilities Experience the breadth of pastoral ministry, including worship services, visitation, counseling, and church governance.

Vision Beyond Residency Graduates of the residency are prepared to lead in a variety of ministry contexts—either as lead pastors in existing churches or as church planters. Residents are encouraged to remain connected to Waukesha Bible Church to help replicate the residency model and advance the mission of multiplying disciple-making churches.
