Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant with phlebotomy skills to join our team at URPrecious Imaging. In this role, you will support our healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional patient care while assisting with various clinical tasks related to breast imaging and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Placing an IV line access for administering contrast for mammography exams. Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare patients for imaging tests by explaining procedures and answering questions. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment. Administer basic medical procedures as directed by physicians or nurses. Assist in the management of inventory and medical supplies. Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently. Schedule walk in appointments and manage patient records using electronic systems. Assist with collecting upfront payments accurately. Maintain a clean and organized reception area to enhance patient experience. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication.

Requirements Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role in a clinical setting. Experience in Phlebotomy. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to breast health and imaging. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction. Ability to work in an outpatient clinic environment with attention to detail. Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills. Familiarity with working with computers and electronic health records. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
