Worship Leader (Part-Time)Hillcrest Baptist Church seeks a pastorally minded Worship Leader who loves Jesus and His church. This Bi-vocational position plays a vital role in leading and coordinating worship that reflects the mission and disciple-making heart of Hillcrest Baptist Church.The Worship Leader will collaborate closely with the Pastor to prepare the Choir, Praise Team, and Musicians, ensuring that worship is Christ-centered, congregational, and rooted in God's Word. This role allows creative freedom to blend musical styles while maintaining theological and doctrinal integrity. Responsibilities include reviewing music for gospel truth, shepherding those involved in music ministry, and being a faithful member of the Hillcrest family.The position requires active participation in all Sunday services, Wednesday night rehearsals and programs, and additional preparation time as needed. While no scheduled office hours are required, the Worship Leader is anticipated to serve with a weekly average of 10-15 hours.Familiarity with the Nolachucky Baptist Association, Tennessee Baptist Association, and Southern Baptist Convention is essential.
