Preaching Internship

Nashville, TN

June 2026 – August 2026

Overview We're looking for seminary students who sense a call to preach and want a focused season to grow in that craft. This internship is designed to help you sharpen your preaching—in an real congregational context. Over the summer, you'll rotate between 6–8 churches in the greater Nashville area, gaining exposure to different congregations, contexts, and preaching environments.

What You'll Do

• Preach at least 2 sermons in a Sunday morning church context
• Read and discuss one preaching book with participating pastors
• Attend staff meetings at various churches to observe ministry rhythms/contexts
• Attend weekly 1-on-1 meetings/lunches with different pastors to discuss preaching, ministry, and pastoral life.

Duration May 2026 – Aug 2026 [final dates will be determined between student and church.]

Compensation Housing and Stipend available (Details provided during interview process)

We are a small church in Nashville, TN. We are dually aligned with Converge MSC and the Southern Baptist Convention. We are theologically reformed but not part of a reformed baptist denomination. We are in the middle of the city and have a relatively young congregation. We have been a church plant for around 15 years and a few part time staff with our lead pastor being full-time.
