Job Overview

The Rector will serve as the chief pastor, priest, and spiritual leader of The Solid Rock Church in Winter Haven, Florida. This role involves faithfully teaching and preaching the Holy Scriptures, administering the Sacraments, and providing spiritual care for the congregation in the traditional Anglican style.

Key Responsibilities:

• Worship & Liturgy: Lead traditional Anglican worship (Holy Eucharist) and oversee all liturgical life of the parish.
• Preaching & Teaching: Deliver relevant, Biblically-based preaching and teaching, including leading Bible study and adult education.
• Pastoral Care: Provide spiritual guidance, counseling, and prayer to the congregation.
• Leadership: Serve as the head of the church, working with lay leadership (Vestry) to fulfill the church's mission of "Bringing Biblical Truth To The World."
• Outreach: Engage in community outreach and support the growth of a welcoming, Christ-centered community.
