Job Overview

Required:

• 10+ years of experience in a church congregation in the USA as a Senior Pastor
• Agree to preach doctrine that is Pentecostal in nature (ask for additional details)
• Experience being accountable to a board of elders or similar accountability to a board structure (501(c)3, NGO, etc.)
• Cross-culturally experienced, understanding of the cultures of America and India

Key Responsibilities:

The new pastor will be expected to focus their time on the following core areas:

• Sermon and Teaching: Prepare and deliver relevant, challenging, and Biblically grounded sermons that connect with the daily lives of our congregation.
• Pastoral Care: Actively shepherd the flock through relational ministry and support, including visiting the sick and counseling.
• Vision & Leadership: Partner with the elders and lay leaders to cast and implement a new, compelling vision for the church's future.
• Evangelism & Discipleship: Champion our outreach efforts and foster a culture of discipleship, particularly through small groups and personal mentoring.

• Strong Communicator: Ability to preach with clarity and passion, inspiring and challenging people to grow in their faith.
• Servant Leader: A humble and approachable leader who is ready to serve alongside the congregation.
