Christian Career – Full-Time Church Description: Thank you for taking the time to consider a position as Sr. Pastor for ENBC. We are a congregation of dedicated believers, a pillar of truth in our community since 1907. Located only 38 miles from Atlanta Georgia, Newnan is an exceptional place to live and raise a family. We have a great opportunity to reach a fast-growing community with the Gospel message. We have a strong area of influence due to our older faithful assembly. Our mission is to proclaim the good news, make disciples, raise up our youth as Pastors, Teachers, Missionaries, and Community Leaders, while continuing to grow in faith and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are a conservative member of the Western Baptist Association, the Georgia Baptist Mission Board, along with the Southern Baptist Convention. We have regular weekly attendees of Sunday School, Sunday Worship, and Wednesday night prayer meeting, youth and women's bible study also lay led Bible study on Monday nights. Job Requirements: A full-time Senior Pastor to prepare and preach all sermons. He would have a deep compassion for the lost, as well as a heart for the youth and missions. He would visit the sick and elderly shut-in members. Work with leadership in the church to maintain a welcoming atmosphere of unity and growth. A senior pastor would be clear and direct with church staff, music pastor, and family pastor to foster a cohesive environment and ensure a unified culture, aligning them toward a common purpose. A senior pastor would be available for counseling, to conduct weddings and funerals for church members, he would also baptize and encourage believers' baptism, along with a regular preparation of the Lord's table as it relates to scripture. He would conduct all business in, around and outside of the church in accordance with scripture. He would have an open door for questions, apt to teach, gentle yet a firm stance on the word of God. He would also moderate the business of the church in accordance with the scriptures and by-laws of the church.
