Faith Community Church is prayerfully seeking a seasoned, Christ-centered, grace-filled Senior Pastor to lead our multi-generational congregation in spiritual growth, biblical teaching, and relational discipleship. For decades, our church has been a place of grace, truth, and community—anchored in a mission to glorify God and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Recognizing that the role of a pastor is first a biblical calling and then a profession, this position is the senior leader in the church and works closely with the board of elders to minister to the people of Faith Community Church, providing both spiritual and administrative direction and guidance.

• Passion for Sharing the Gospel: Seeks to engage the local community and the world by exhorting church members and attendees to evangelism in their spheres of influence and leads by example in so doing.
• Proven Ministry Experience: A history of navigating ministry challenges with resilience, humility, and biblical conviction.

Job Description

Job Duties:

• Diligently seek God's vision for the general ministry, direction and effectiveness of Faith Community Church.
• Provide Bible exposition and teaching during the worship services of the church.
• Coordinate with the Worship Pastor all other aspects of the worship service.
• Serve on the board of elders as an ex officio member, regularly attending meetings and providing advice and guidance about current needs and future plans.
• Conduct regular staff meetings.
• Oversee pastoral staff including administering performance reviews in conjunction with the board of elders.
• Be available to all ministry leaders for advice, encouragement and perspective about the overall purpose and direction of the church.
• Provide and/or delegate counseling to church members and attendees as requested.
• Provide home visitation services to church members and attendees as needed or requested.
• Conduct marriage and funeral services as requested by church members and attendees as approved by the board of elders.
