First Baptist Church of Vernon is prayerfully seeking a full-time pastor to provide spiritual leadership for the church and its ministries. We adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and consider ourself a traditional congregation. The ideal candidate will guide the church in accordance with God's Word, our church's mission and goals, and the bylaws of First Baptist Church, Vernon.

The Church is blessed with a large auditorium, Sunday School facilities, nursery and playground, Fellowship Hall, and Parlor. Property includes a full gymnasium, racquetball court, kitchen and up to date youth facilities. Also, included is the North Star building which facilitates as a Sunday School classroom/all-purpose facility.

Currently we have 550 active church members and have an average of 175 people attending Sunday School. (average for 2025)
