Job Description

First Southern Baptist Church of Dodge City is seeking a bi-vocational senior pastor to exercise general oversight of our local church, its ministry, and functions in a rapidly growing area. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in church revitalization and have at minimum five years experience being a pastor. We are open to discussing specific terms with the ideal candidate.

Our small congregation wants a pastor that can challenge us in fulfilling the Great Commission through the teachings of the Word of God. The pastor must ensure that sound biblical doctrine is foundational to the mission and vision of our church, and will guide the church in evangelism and community outreach.

About First Southern Baptist Church

FSBC is located in Dodge City, Kansas and is three hours(154 miles) west of Wichita. Our community here in Dodge City is multicultural with the majority being Hispanics. There are around 30,000 residents here in Dodge City and around 50% of those residents attend a local church.

It is our church's hope to reach those that are not in current attendance of a church and share the love of God with them.
