Hardy Street Baptist Church is a family of faith located in the heart of Hattiesburg, making disciples among our neighbors, the nations, & the next generation. We are a Southern Baptist congregation with an average Sunday morning attendance of around 300 people, with a thriving college ministry and strong senior adult ministry. We are committed to providing a welcoming and spiritually enriching environment for our community. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Senior Pastor to lead our church into the future.
The Senior Pastor will provide spiritual leadership and oversight for HSBC . This role involves preaching, teaching, counseling, and leading the church in fulfilling its role in the Great Commission. The ideal candidate will be a passionate follower of Christ who is committed to growing the church and making a positive impact on the community.
Qualifications:– M.Div or higher from a recognized Baptist seminary.– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.– A genuine love for people and the ability to build strong relationships within the congregation.– A passion for equipping in evangelism, discipleship, and missions.– Commitment to the doctrinal beliefs stated in the Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
