Idlewild Baptist Church (IBC) has an immediate opening for Senior Pastor. Located near the thriving city of Charlotte, North Carolina, there is an international airport, and the mountains and beach are within reasonable driving distance.

Organizational Information:

Sundays:

LifeGroups @ 9:45 am, Worship Service @ 11:00 am

Wednesdays:

Supper @ 5:00 pm

Children/Youth/Adult Services @ 6:30 pm

Sunday Worship Attendance Range ~131 to 158

Child Development Center:

Director with 17 Teachers, 1 Cook, and 2 Administrators

Monday through Friday 6:30am to 6:30pm

General Requirements:

• Background check required if selected as a final candidate
• Must have graduated from a Southern Baptist Seminary upon resume submission
• Annual Evaluation will be conducted by IBC Personnel Ministry

If found to be a viable candidate, you will be contacted to complete 10 essay questions within two weeks of notification, for a word count of ~500 words for each question. Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be screened closely, and it is highly discouraged if you progress to this phase. If selected as a final candidate for an interview, be prepared to discuss the essay questions in detail.
