Senior Pastor

New Chapel Hill Baptist Church in West Monroe, Louisiana, is prayerfully seeking the man God has called to serve as our next Senior Pastor. Our mission is simple and settled: "To know Jesus and to make Him known" (Matthew 28:19–20).

About Our Church

New Chapel Hill is a conservative, multi-generational Southern Baptist congregation of approximately 250. We affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, cooperate gladly with the Northeast Louisiana Baptist Association, Louisiana Baptists, and the Southern Baptist Convention, and give faithfully to missions through the Cooperative Program. Our church family has active ministries to children, students, men and women, and senior adults, along with music ministry and missions that reach from our local schools to Belize.

The Pastor We Seek

We are seeking a shepherd whose ministry flows from a genuine walk with Christ. We are praying for a man who:

• Has a clear call to pastoral ministry and meets the qualifications of 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:5–9
• Wholeheartedly affirms the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 and the inerrancy of Scripture
• Preaches the Word faithfully and clearly, points people to Christ, and applies the text to everyday life
• Loves people of every generation and is present in their homes, hospital rooms, and hard seasons
• Leads, encourages, and develops a ministry staff, and works alongside our deacons and lay leaders
• Has a heart for evangelism, missions, and our community

This is a full-time position. Pastoral experience is expected, and seminary training is preferred.
