About The Fellowship Church

The Fellowship Church is a vibrant, non-denominational church with Southern Baptist roots located in Leesburg, Florida. Founded in 2017, the church was established with a simple but compelling mission:

"The Fellowship Church exists to ensure every man, woman, and child has repeated opportunities to see, hear, and respond to Jesus."

Since its founding, The Fellowship has been committed to creating environments where people can encounter Christ, grow in their faith, and live on mission. Through dynamic worship, practical Biblical teaching, authentic community, and strategic outreach, the church has built a culture centered on reaching people far from God and helping them become fully devoted followers of Jesus.

Today, The Fellowship Church welcomes approximately 300–400 people each weekend and continues to experience healthy growth and ministry impact throughout Central Florida.

Worship gatherings feature modern worship music, practical Biblical teaching, and an engaging atmosphere designed to help people connect with God and one another.

The Fellowship Church is a pastoral-led, elder-accountable, deacon-serving, team-driven church. The Senior Pastor will work collaboratively with church leadership to provide spiritual oversight, vision, and direction for the congregation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

• Demonstrate a clear calling to pastoral ministry
• Possess a strong personal walk with Jesus Christ
• Meet the Biblical qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
• Have a minimum of 5+ years of ministry leadership experience, including experience leading staff, volunteers, or ministry teams within a church context
• Previous experience serving as a Lead Pastor, Executive Pastor, Campus Pastor, Associate Pastor, or comparable ministry leadership role is preferred
• Exhibit strong character, integrity, and emotional maturity
• Have experience developing leaders and building healthy ministry teams
• Possess excellent communication and preaching abilities
• Align with the doctrinal beliefs and ministry philosophy of The Fellowship Church
• A bachelor's degree is preferred. Seminary training or advanced theological education is valued but not required. More important than educational credentials is a demonstrated history of faithful ministry leadership, Biblical teaching, and disciple-making effectiveness.

The Fellowship Church is a non-denominational church with Southern Baptist roots and maintains active partnerships with the Southern Baptist Convention and other like-minded Gospel-centered ministry organizations.

While autonomous in governance, The Fellowship Church embraces a conservative, evangelical understanding of Scripture and doctrine. Candidates should be comfortable serving within this theological framework and align with the church's statement of faith and ministry philosophy.

The ideal candidate will fully align with the church's doctrinal convictions, including:

• The authority and inerrancy of Scripture
• Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone
• The deity, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ
• The active work and gifts of the Holy Spirit
