Job Summary:
Blackrock Baptist Church is seeking a Student Director who will lead and disciple middle and high school students through biblical teaching, relational ministry, and intentional outreach. This part‑time role offers a flexible weekly schedule and is ideal for someone passionate about investing in the next generation while working collaboratively within a local church team.

Key Responsibilities:
Work environment: Includes weekly gatherings, planning time, occasional events, and Sunday responsibilities as neededPlan and lead Wednesday evening student ministry gatherings including teaching, worship coordination, small groups, and fellowshipDevelop discipleship pathways that help students grow and reproduce in biblical knowledge, spiritual maturity, and Christlike characterBuild relationships with students through presence, mentoring, and consistent engagementFaithfully help to develop, oversee and steward the Student ministry budgetPlan and lead events, camp, retreat, and Acts 1:8 outreach/mission opportunities with other adult leaders Communicate with parents to support spiritual development and keep families informedCollaborate with pastoral staff to align student ministry with the church's mission and visionMaintain safe, organized, and welcoming environments for all student activitiesWork collaboratively with other ministries to implement and clear path for Spiritual Growth (Head, Heart, Hands)Uphold and model biblical integrity, humility, and servant leadershipEstablish trusting relationships with an active presence on Middle/High School campusesRecruit and train adult leaders proportionate to student attendanceSeek out training and development opportunitiesThis position can grow into a full-time position over time with growth of the ministrySupport vision of Sr Pastor and mission of Blackrock Baptist ChurchProvide Sunday morning support when needed through Student Sunday School and supplying pulpit in absence of Sr. Pastor.Comply with church safety procedures
