Student/Family Pastor
Rural Dale Baptist Church in Trenton, Missouri, is seeking a full-time student and family pastor. RDBC is a multigenerational congregation with an average weekly attendance of 260-280. We have a solid core of biblically sound youth members with involved, active, and supportive parents. RDBC is perfectly positioned between two area high schools, strategically placing our student ministry on the mission field.
RDBC is located in rural Grundy County in north-central Missouri, an agriculture-driven community with a population of approximately 9,800. Trenton, the counties largest town, offers restaurants, shopping, a hospital, and other essential amenities. North Central Missouri College is a key part of the community, and the surrounding area provides excellent opportunities for hunting, fishing, and other outdoor recreation. The people and values that are prevalent in our community provide an amazing place to raise a family and faithfully serve Christ in ministry.
Primary Responsibilities:
Student Ministry
· Prepare doctrinally sound and theologically rich teachings that will equip students to be faithful followers of Christ.
· Provide vision, teaching, and leadership for RDBC's student ministry.
· Equip and lead student ministry volunteers to effectively disciple students.
· Oversee weekly gatherings, small groups, events, mission trips, camps, and retreats.
· Shepherd students, parents, and leaders through intentional relational ministry.
Parent Equipping and Family Discipleship
· Equip parents as the primary disciple-makers in their homes through teaching, resources, classes, and direct pastoral care.
· Promote and cultivate a church-wide culture that prioritizes intergenerational discipleship and family engagement.
General Pastoral Ministry
· Participate in preaching, congregational care, and other pastoral responsibilities as assigned, according to gifting and abilities.
Qualifications
· Meet the biblical qualifications for a pastor as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and
Titus 1:5-9.
· Possess a clear calling into student and pastoral ministry.
· Prior experience serving or supporting student ministry is preferred.
· Strong communicator with the ability to teach Scripture faithfully and clearly.
· Capacity to develop leaders, build ministry systems, and execute ministry plans with excellence.
Compensation
· Full-time salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
· Relocation assistance may be available.
