Have a passion for student ministry? Not sure if you want to pursue ministry? Interested in spending a summer discipling, being discipled, and pouring into the lives of the next generation?

The Orangewood Student Ministry team is excited to offer THREE paid summer internships. We are looking for ONE Resident Intern and TWO Relational Ministry and Event Interns!

Resident Intern

Reports To: Student Ministry Director and Coordinator

Duration: 9 weeks (June-July)

~40hrs/week

Description:

The Resident Intern is a member of the student ministry team who will gain hands-on ministry experience through leadership development, discipleship, and event/program support. This intern will be present in the office throughout the week, actively involved in planning and executing events, attending camps, and engaging directly with students through relational ministry.

• Build intentional relationships with middle school and/or high school students
• Meet regularly with students for discipleship and encouragement
• Prepare and teach one message for our "Summer Session" series
• Participate in and help lead camps and events
• Assist in planning student ministry events
• Help with administrative tasks such as communication and resource prep
• Participate in staff meetings
• Receive discipleship and mentoring from the student ministry staff
• Grow in ministry skills, including communication, leadership, and discipleship

The Relational Ministry and Event Intern

Reports To: Student Ministry Director and Coordinator

Duration: 9 Weeks

~20 hrs/week

Description:

The Relational Ministry Intern focuses primarily on building meaningful, discipleship-centered relationships with students. This role emphasizes presence, connection, and spiritual investment through one-on-one meetings, small group involvement, and participation in student ministry events and camps.

• Building intentional relationships with middle school and/or high school students
• Meet one-on-one with students for discipleship
• Engage with students during summer gatherings, events, and camps
• Attend and assist with student ministry events and camps
• Prepare and teach one message for our "Summer Session" series
• Help create a welcoming environment for our students
• Participate in ministry and leadership training and discipleship from the student ministry staff
